Office Move Services

We move and build workplace IT with governed, evidence-led methods—covering office relocations, desktop deployment, meeting room & AV, desk cable management, and connectivity testing. Every job runs under RAMS and permits, with labelled assets, disciplined cabling, and minute-by-minute run sheets so downtime is low and handovers are clean.

From pack-out to power-up we control risk and prove outcomes: anti-static packing and direct transport; mapped desks and tidy looms; AV re-mount and commissioning; and post-move login/network checks. You receive an audit-ready pack—manifests, photos, test results, and sign-offs—so internal/external reviews are straightforward.

Standard PC User Rates

ESSENTIAL USER (1-MONITOR)

From £50 Per User
Disconnect → pack → move → reconnect for 1 x Monitor, PC, keyboard/mouse, phone and webcam; resulting with a per-desk handover.

PRO USER (2 MONITORS)

From £65 Per User
Everything in Essentials plus dual monitors or an ultrawide with arms/stands if required, full cable management (tray/basket with Velcro routing).

TRADERS (3-9 MONITORS)

From £150 Per User
Designed for 3–9 screens with docks and specialist mounting brackets. Includes additional standard kit and login/monitor orientation testing as standard.

Pack & Move (Client Re-Cable): This option uses the same premium packing and transport standards—visual inspection, anti-static wrap, flight cases/crates, restrained loads, direct routes, and optional live tracking. On arrival we unpack and place equipment exactly to plan, then hand back to your team for re-commission. A final joint walk-round confirms everything has been migrated safely and accounted for.

De-Cable to Re-Cable (Full Service): On move day our engineers visually inspect all kit, then de-commission PCs, monitors, phones and peripherals, wrapping everything in anti-static protection and loading into dedicated relocation crates or flight cases. Equipment travels on direct routes in GPS-tracked, air-ride vehicles with proper restraints; we can provide your representative with a live tracking login. At destination we clear security, move items to position, and re-commission precisely to the desk plan—power-up and basic functional tests included—before a joint walk-round with your rep to confirm a clean handover and close any exceptions.

What tools & equipment do we use to cable manage:

Containment: wire-basket tray, perforated tray, ladder rack, mini/dado trunking (segregated), display drops, projector shrouds, under-desk trays/baskets, wall/floor brush grommets, conduit and glands.

Fixings & dressings: Velcro (data/AV), selective cable ties (power/anchors), strain-relief/lacing bars, cable combs, adhesive bases with mechanical backup, edge grommet strips.

Labelling: Heat-shrink or flag IDs at both ends (plus mid-run on long pulls), colour sleeves by path – distinct colours for power, data, fibre, and a matching label index in the cable schedule

Power: PDUs with labelled circuits, surge-protected gangs for desks, power and data run in segregated containment, and planned service loops so maintenance doesn’t pull on cable.

Your move shouldn’t rely on guesswork. We scope precisely, protect the building, pack with purpose, and re-commission like-for-like—then prove it with photos, registers, and test results. Whether it’s desks, racks, AV rooms or connectivity, the outcome is the same: clean cabling, working systems, and an audit-ready handover with zero drama.

Frequently Asked Office Move Services Questions:

Below are straight answers to the questions we’re asked most by IT, Workplace and Compliance teams planning office moves and rollouts. They explain how we control risk, protect assets and data, and deliver verifiable results you can take to an internal or external audit.

Planning removes the drama. Desks and ports are pre-labelled, looms pre-built, crates staged by area, and lifts/routes booked to the minute. On the day we run dual teams so seats come back online in rolling waves, then hold a floor-walk support window; the PM remains on the comms channel for quick decisions. Building protection and tidy-as-you-go housekeeping keep spaces usable.

We enforce separation of power and data/fibre, minimum bend radii (≥4× copper; ≥10× fibre unless vendor specifies), and strain-relief before connectors so weight never sits on SFPs/adapters. Containment is selected for the space—wire-basket or perforated tray for primary runs, mini/dado trunking for surface routes, and under-desk trays/baskets at workstations. Everything is labelled both ends (mid-run on long pulls) and photographed before/after so the map and schedule match reality.

We prove the user-visible basics first—login, DHCP/DNS/NTP and gateway reach—then validate the layers beneath: wired links negotiate at the right speed/duplex with stable PoE class/draw; fibre loss and polarity are measured (OTDR if scoped); VLAN/802.1X posture is correct; Wi-Fi join/roam/throughput is sampled; and AV/UC paths (EDID/HDCP, USB-C/HDMI share, mic pickup/AEC, speaker level) are verified with a short test call. Results are timestamped against each area’s checklist.

We offer the following:

  • Employers’ £10m, Public £5m, Professional Indemnity £1m; Goods-in-Transit typically £250k+ per vehicle (certificates available)

  • Building permits and access control handled; no drilling without asbestos clearance and written permission

  • Unbranded air-ride vehicles on direct routes (no hub transfers); any overnighting in alarmed/CCTV facilities with restricted access

A named PM owns RAMS, the change window, and a timed run sheet with go/no-go gates. We keep a live risk register with owners and an exceptions log so every deviation gets an ETA and rollback. High-risk actions—power downs, patching, live cutovers—are dual-signed against the permit. Safe quick wins (e.g., bad patch, wrong VLAN) are fixed and re-tested with your approval; anything else pauses and escalates through change control.

Assets are labelled pre de-cable, anti-static wrapped, and sealed with numbered tags; seal IDs, hand-offs, routes and timings are logged end-to-end. Engineers work under NDAs (DBS/SIA/BPSS available). We don’t touch user data unless it’s explicitly in scope; for imaging/migration we use approved wipe/move methods and record serials, hashes and dates.

We isolate by layer—power → link/VLAN/QoS → device/app—using a known-good kit to prove the fault domain. If it’s safe, we remediate with your approval and re-test; otherwise we document the issue, add evidence (screenshots/photos/meter results), assign an owner with an ETA, and keep it open until it passes or a signed workaround is agreed.

You receive an audit-ready pack: barcode/QR asset register; crate/flight-case seal IDs with pack/unpack photos; tray/trunking maps that match the installed labels; before/after images for desks, racks and rooms; and test artefacts (link/duplex, PoE class/draw, fibre loss/polarity where scoped, EDID/HDCP, Wi-Fi spots, WAN/throughput). A one-page summary shows pass rate, any open items with owner/ETA, and dated sign-off.
